Venues Have Rules
Every venue has restrictions on power, noise, fixings, deliveries and what you can bring in. Discovering them late can mean redesigning an installation or paying for urgent changes.
Questions Worth Asking
Collect answers in writing and share them with everyone building the project. Our installation team uses a version of this list on every new venue.
- Access — loading times, lift sizes and door widths
- Power — supply type, capacity and who connects it
- Fixings — whether you may attach to walls, floors or ceilings
- Sound and light — limits on noise, brightness and effects
- Insurance and paperwork — certificates and method statements required

Understand the Approvals
Some venues require drawings or equipment lists in advance, and approvals can take weeks. Submit early and ask what happens if a late change is needed.
Build a Relationship
A helpful venue contact can save hours on the day. Keep them informed, thank them and share your contact details. If you are an agency coordinating several suppliers, our partnership programme can help manage the technical side.
