Wired Versus Wireless
Each option has a role. We recommend based on the site, as in our permanent installations.
- Wired — stable, secure and predictable
- Wi-Fi — flexible, but affected by walls, crowds and interference
- Cellular — useful for remote sites or backup
- Power over Ethernet — power and data on one cable
- Mixed approach — wired for critical devices, wireless for extras
