A Label Has Little Room
Wine labels carry legal text and branding but little space for the story behind the bottle. WebAR lets a shopper scan the label and see the vineyard, hear from the winemaker or get pairing ideas, without leaving the shelf or the dinner table.
Content That Works
With WebAR, one scan opens a page in the browser with no app to install.
- Provenance — the vineyard, vintage and growing conditions
- Winemaker voice — a short video with a personal introduction
- Pairing guidance — food suggestions and serving advice
- Reorder links — a direct route to buy another bottle

Design and Compliance
Alcohol marketing is regulated, so content and any age checks must meet advertising rules. Labels also need a clear scan prompt and enough contrast to trigger reliably in low shop lighting.
Print runs are fixed, so the experience should be tested before labels go to press.
Budget
Because the experience can be updated after printing, one build can serve several vintages. A typical project sits between £5k-£12k and takes 4-6 weeks. Drinks agencies can offer it to producers through our partnership programme.
