A Dangerous Workplace
Agriculture has one of the poorest safety records of any UK industry, and much of the risk comes from familiar tasks done in a hurry. Training on the real hazards is itself dangerous, which is where VR helps.
What Scenarios Cover
Our VR training builds can reproduce common situations in a repeatable, consequence-free way.
- Machinery guarding — spotting unguarded power take-offs and moving parts
- Vehicle awareness — blind spots, slopes and reversing
- Livestock handling — reading behaviour and safe positioning
- Working at height — silos, barns and loading areas

Fitting Into Farm Life
Seasonal workers and small teams need short, practical sessions, not day-long courses. A portable headset kit that can be taken to the farm or agricultural college works better than a fixed training room.
Content should reflect the machinery and layouts actually in use where possible.
Investment
A module covering several hazards typically costs £12k-£28k and takes 8-10 weeks. Training bodies and insurers may also find value in shared deployment. Delivery to agricultural training providers is possible through our partner network.
