The Fundraising Gap
Charities know the difference their work makes, but it is hard to convey in a gala-dinner speech. A short VR film or experience puts supporters in the room with a beneficiary or at a project site, which can change how people respond to an ask.
Formats That Work at Events
Event time is limited, so the experience needs to be short, well-staffed and easy to run. Our VR development focuses on the formats below.
- 360 documentary pieces — two to four minutes of real footage from the field
- Interactive "day in the life" scenes — simple choices that show consequences
- Before-and-after environments — comparing a place with and without support
- Donation moment integration — a clear route from headset to giving

Handle With Care
Immersive content can be emotionally intense. Beneficiaries must give informed consent, content should be dignified rather than exploitative, and a member of staff should be present to support anyone who finds it difficult.
Hygiene matters too: single-use covers and a cleaning routine between wearers keep queues moving.
Budget and Timing
A single 360 film with event kit typically sits in the £6k-£15k range, with interactive builds higher. Allow 6-10 weeks including filming. We can also supply this to fundraising agencies through our agency partner service.
