Decisions Under Pressure
Most cyber response plans are documents nobody has felt the pressure of using. When an incident hits, executives must make fast calls about disclosure, shutdown and communication with partial information. Rehearsal builds familiarity with that pressure.
How a VR Rehearsal Runs
Our VR training builds place a leadership team in a simulated incident room where events unfold in real time.
- Evolving scenario — new information arrives as the clock runs
- Role-based decisions — each executive owns their part of the response
- Realistic communications — press, customer and regulator pressure
- Structured debrief — reviewing every decision afterwards

What It Does Not Replace
VR rehearsal complements, rather than replaces, technical testing and a written incident plan. Its value is in exposing gaps in communication and decision rights, which are rarely technical.
Scenarios should be tailored to the organisation, so we work with security leads rather than using generic scripts.
Scope and Cost
A bespoke scenario with facilitation materials is typically scoped at £15k-£30k and developed over 8-12 weeks. Teams of different sizes can be accommodated, and we also deliver through our partner network.
