Puzzles Make People Work Together
Teams love a challenge, and a physical puzzle room or puzzle wall gives a brand a way to hold people's attention for ten minutes or an hour. The hardest part is not the idea, it is keeping dozens of props working reliably.
Typical Components
Our interactive installations build puzzles from a small set of dependable parts.
- Sensors and switches — detecting objects, positions or sequences
- Locks and latches — releasing compartments when a puzzle is solved
- Controller — tracking state and triggering lights, sound and movement
- Hint system — a screen or game master who nudges stuck teams
- Reset routine — returning everything to start between groups

Safety Comes First
Exit routes and fire safety rules apply to puzzle spaces just like any other, so take advice from a fire safety professional. Any electromagnetic lock on a route out must release on power loss or a fire alarm. Never rely on a puzzle being solved to let people leave.
Design for different abilities too, with puzzles that do not depend on one sense or one kind of movement.
Reliability Is the Product
A puzzle that jams halfway through a team's session ruins the experience. Choose parts rated for heavy use, make faults easy to find and keep spares to hand. Agencies can bring us in at concept stage through our partner service to check feasibility.
