Launch Is Not the Finish Line
An experience that works on launch day can stop working months later. Phone operating systems change, browsers update, headsets are replaced and hosting agreements lapse. Without a plan, a good project quietly decays.
What Needs Looking After
Our AR, VR and WebAR projects usually need attention in a few predictable areas.
- Hosting and domains — keeping links and content live
- Platform updates — new OS and browser versions that can break features
- Content refreshes — seasonal changes, new products and corrections
- Device support — new headsets or discontinued hardware
- Analytics review — checking that tracking still works

Agree Support Before You Build
Decide at the start who is responsible for what and for how long. A small support agreement is typically far cheaper than an emergency repair, and it avoids awkward questions about who owns the source files and accounts.
Keep copies of source files, credentials and documentation somewhere you control.
Plan the End as Well
Campaign experiences should have a planned end date, with links redirected sensibly when they close. We build support and handover planning into our work, including for agency clients via our partnership programme.
