Turning the Floor Into a Game
A projector or overhead display throws images onto the floor, while sensors watch for feet and movement. Ripples spread where you step, balls roll away when kicked and characters follow you around. It is simple to understand, which is why it works well in retail and family spaces.
What You Need
Our interactive installations normally combine a few components.
- Projector or display — bright enough for the room, with a suitable throw distance
- Sensing — overhead depth sensor or camera to track movement
- Computer and software — real-time graphics reacting to the sensor
- Mounting — secure rigging above the play area
- Content library — several scenes so the experience does not tire

Practical Details That Matter
Light is the usual problem. Bright daylight washes out a projected floor, so shaded areas or brighter equipment may be needed. Floor colour matters as well, with pale, matt surfaces working best.
Hygiene and safety also count in play areas: keep cables out of reach, check overhead rigging carefully and make sure the floor stays non-slip.
Commissioning One
Start with the space: ceiling height, lighting and footfall tell us what is realistic. We can run a short trial before a permanent install, and work with retailers and agencies through our partner service.
