Beyond the Lead List
Badge scans tell you who spoke to your team. They say nothing about the many people who walked past, paused or watched from a distance. Simple measurement can show which parts of a stand actually draw interest.
What You Can Measure
Counting methods vary in accuracy and cost, and none is perfect. Be clear with your team about what each number really represents. Our exhibition installations can include light-touch measurement where it is useful.
- Passing count — people moving through the aisle
- Stopping count — people who pause within a defined zone
- Dwell time — how long they remain
- Interaction count — taps, plays or completions on an installation
- Time of day patterns — when interest peaks

Privacy Comes First
Prefer anonymous counting over anything that identifies individuals, and tell visitors clearly if cameras or sensors are used. Rules differ by country and venue, so treat this as general information and take proper advice.
Use the Numbers to Improve
Compare each day of the show and adjust: move a demo, change a headline or add staff at busy times. Even rough comparisons help you decide where to invest next year. Creative agencies can also work with us through our partnership programme.
