Preparation Saves Money
Businesses new to AR and VR often brief suppliers with an idea but little else, then receive proposals that are hard to compare. A little preparation makes quotes more accurate and cuts the risk of paying for something that does not fit.
The Checklist
Before approaching a supplier such as us for AR, VR or WebAR, try to answer these.
- The goal — what should change as a result?
- The audience — who will use it, and where?
- The setting — a website, an event, a showroom or a training room?
- Existing assets — 3D models, video, brand guidelines and data
- The budget — an honest range, even if approximate
- The deadline — and anything that cannot move

Common Mistakes
Starting with the technology, not the problem, is the most common one. Others include underestimating content costs, forgetting about ongoing hosting and updates, and not deciding who in the business will own the project after launch.
If the idea is unclear, a short discovery workshop is usually better value than a full build.
What Happens Next
A well-prepared brief usually leads to a clear proposal within days, and our typical SME projects sit in the £5k-£40k range depending on scope. If you are an agency briefing on behalf of a client, our partnership process covers the same ground.
