A Field Is Not a Venue
Festival sites have no permanent walls, power or paths. Everything an activation needs must be brought in, which affects the design, the budget and the schedule more than most first-time brands expect.
Early Questions to Ask
Answers from the organiser shape what is possible, and they are worth asking before the concept is finalised. Our festival activations always start with this checklist.
- Ground — is it flat, soft, sloping or likely to turn to mud
- Power — what supply is offered, and what you must bring
- Access — vehicle routes and times for load-in
- Licensing — rules for sampling, noise and music
- Crowds — expected peaks and how people flow past the plot

Design for the Weather
Outdoor fields mean rain, wind and sun. Choose robust structures, protect electronics and keep a clear plan for severe weather. Queue shelters help the experience as much as the technology.
Plan the Crew
Long festival days need rotating staff, rest areas and a technical contact on site. A well-looked-after team keeps the activation friendlier and more reliable through the weekend. Agencies planning a festival presence for a client can also work with us through our partnership programme.
