Screens Are the Easy Part
Buying a screen takes an afternoon. Keeping it showing useful, up-to-date content for years is the real project, and it is where many small business signage schemes quietly fail.
What to Decide Early
Before spending on hardware, work through these points. We help businesses with them as part of our display and information work.
- Who updates it — one named person, with a simple tool
- How often content changes — daily offers, seasonal campaigns or rarely
- Where it runs — one screen or several sites
- Players — a small computer or built-in player behind each screen
- Scheduling — different content at different times and days

Plan for Failure
Screens will lose power, networks will drop and someone will unplug the player. Choose a system that restarts itself, shows a fallback loop when it cannot reach the internet and tells you when a screen has gone offline.
Content also needs thought. Text should be readable from the real viewing distance, with movement used sparingly.
Start Small
A single well-placed screen with good content beats five neglected ones. We can scope a small pilot and expand it later. Agencies can add this to a client package through our partner programme.
