Designing for Time
A garden changes with every season and every year, which is what makes it hard to sell from a drawing. AR lets a client stand in their own garden and see the planting scheme in place, then scrub through time to see how it will mature.
What Designers Can Show
Our AR tools help turn a plan into something clients can walk around.
- Mature size — plants shown as they will look in several years
- Seasonal change — colour, leaf and flower through the year
- Hard landscaping — paving, walls and pergolas to scale
- Alternatives — swapping schemes while the client is present

Being Honest About Growth
Plants do not always behave as modelled. Growth depends on soil, light and care, so previews should be presented as indicative and based on typical performance, not guaranteed outcomes.
Plant libraries need botanical accuracy, and nurseries often make good content partners.
Getting Started
A starter plant library of 50-100 species with a basic placement tool is typically an 8-12 week build in the £12k-£25k range. A lightweight version through WebAR can reduce cost for single designers.
